Master Bathroom.. How it all started...

Jason and I bought our cute little 1970's home 3 years ago and we have slowly done small projects here and there. We added granite to our kitchen and a flagstone patio in the backyard but nothing major until.. our little slab leak. We discovered we had a leak between the toilet and bathtub which led to this..

Which then led the husband to this..

I'm so sad I never took before pictures but it was a a very typical bathroom for our decade of home. The vanity, mirror, sink, etc.. were visible(basically in) the master bedroom with the toilet and bathtub walled off. We(Jason) removed the wall, re-routed plumbing, re-routed electrical, and basically built a new bathroom all by himself. It looks amazing and I feel like I am getting ready in a hotel room. I am SOOO lucky to have such a talented husband. Pictures to come.. :)

These mini paint samples available at Home Depot, Lowes, Restoration Hardware..etc. I have the hardest time selecting just the right paint color and these make life much easier. Each costs $2.94-$3.99 but are well worth every penny. We just painted the master bedroom the perfect shade of a gray/blue color and I cant wait for it to be complete. Tonight we tackle the baseboards..

Joining the Blogging World!!

I'm so excited to accomplish one of my goals this year and start a blog. I've recently started reading other blogs and I've become obsessed with the information, ideas and knowledge shared in the blog world. I love reading about home design, diy projects, cooking, real estate and pretty much all things domestic and hope I can add value to others as they have to me. ; )

I must warn you though... proper spelling/language was never my strong suit so please don't expect my posts to be perfect.
